To use it, you’ll need to install Pidginand the Pidgin-OTR plug-in. Both are available for Windows and should be in your Linux distribution’s software repositories. Mac OS X users will have to use Adiuminstead.

Also has a sleep timer and I can turn on shuffle and listen to various old radio shows and random. I have tried other OTR apps But this one is the best. I use an app called Launcher which adds widgets to the iPhones today view Notification Center. I contacted them and immediately he contacted me back and said they would try to find the URL to try to make it work. They kept contacting me every step of the way.

I have not seen this great of customer service in most of the apps that I have. If you like good old time radio shows get this app. If you like good customer service get this app. You guys are the best. I can remember closing my eyes and listened to the best stories ever with big and growing STARS of the Radio, TV and Movies with these wonderful stories that mean so much to me and are so real and descriptive in actions and words. An instance such as “Tales of the Texas Rangers” with Joel McCray whose descriptive words and sounds MADE IT SOOOO REAL for men as a child, young man and now that my 40 plus years in Law Enforcement means so much to me. Many other shows, Westerns, Comedies, Romance and Adventures that are so real as they are written, acted and spoken as I listen on my phone, computer and Laptop. My Grandma shared classic Radio with me back in the 1990’s when I would spend afternoons with her after grade school. It’s a wonderful way to reconnect with her and my Grandpa’s memory. I only have one disappointment with the app and that is the absence of a “children’s” or a “family” genre section with titles such as “Let’s Pretend”, “Air Castles”, or “Once Upon a Time.” Besides “Fibber” and “Shadow” my Grandmother shared these with me the most and it would be wonderful to listen to them again. Otherwise this app is much enjoyed and much appreciated. Thanks so much!
