I received the package very quickly and the item was wrapped and protected carefully. It's very nice item, even though it added a little weight on the new MacBook but it wasn't a problem to me cause I would much have this extra protection than having scratches all over my Mac. The cover also gives an extra glossy look on the device and the bottom part got some vents in case the Mac runs hot and it also had rubber feet. And YET, they even included an extra 4 pieces of the rubber feet!!! The case cover almost every part of your Mac from top to bottom and it fits the Mac very nicely and tightly. Overall, I'm very satisfied about having this case on my Mac.

This clear case for my 12' Macbook fits perfectly and compares favorably to the Speck case my wife has on her 13' Macbook Air. Except for the embossed name on her case, you really can't tell the difference. This is sturdy and strong and protects as well as the ones costing four times as much. It also comes with extra rubber feet on the off-chance that one them falls off.

I'm glad I got this one as opposed to the name brand case. Now I have $36 extra to spend on USB-C adapters (damn you, Apple!). UPDATE: Five weeks in, the case developed a crack on one of the front corners.

I bought the clear which is a hard plastic with a glossy finish. I have read some of the other color descriptions indicate they are rubberized so I might buy another (rubberized) one as a backup. UPDATE 1: I am trying to find out if all the colors are the hard, gloss plastic like the clear. I really wanted a rubberized, frosted cover either in clear or gray. Please comment if the one you received is rubberized and bendable; the clear/crystal case certainly will not bend without breaking as the photo shows. I still love my case, I just want more accurate info before I purchase a second case.

UPDATE 2: I contacted the manufacturer because I intended to buy a second cover in a different color and I wanted a better idea of the colors since it was difficult to tell how dark the gray color is (btw-it doesn't seem to be available in gray anymore). I was pleasantly surprised that they sent me a complimentary gray cover and I LOVE it.

Here is their explanation for why the clear cover appears different: 'all the cases except the 'crystal clear' case were applied a coating to prevent scratches on the surface of cases. But the materials are basically the same.' I didn't like the gloss of the clear case and I really didn't want a frosted white cover on my space gray macbook. I LOVE the look of the gray cover on my space gray macbook.

The gloss shows smudges but the frosted gray hides a lot. Also, the frosted cover has more 'grip'.

Although both have small, rubberized 'feet' the frosted cover is less likely to slip off an inclined surface. I know this review is for the clear cover, I prefer the gray cover; it is a great compliment to the space gray macbook. The photos I posted are of the macbook with the gray cover on. I love my Macbook Gold but I wanted a case to protect it when I travel around places - something sleek and thin that didn't take away from the aesthetic beauty of the laptop. This case seemed to fit the bill, so I ordered it and I am not disappointed! The laptop remains lightweight even with the case on, and the Apple logo shines through beautifully.

The case is also easy to put on the laptop. My only issue is that it gets fingerprint marks rather easily and will require a wipe down every now and then, I'm guessing a dab of a napkin in 99% alcohol will do the trick. The case fits perfectly on my Macbook 2015. It is lightweight. It snaps securely.

I am a little worried it it leaves a mark from snapping in. It looks like it doesn't so far. I purchased the clear so I can still see the beautiful gold (I did hear that the matte was not as reflective but its is not as 'see through' as clear. I purchased this because I was scared of that Apple's aluminum gold shell may get scratched with time, so I am hoping this will do its job! It covers almost everything with the exception of the USB-C input on the left and earphone input on the right -and the back.

The only issue that I have is that when it is closed, the back is not protected, it is not covered at all. Now, that is my concern since I purchase this so I do not need to use a carrying slip case. I am worried that if I put this in my backpack other items may scratch the aluminum. I really wished that was somehow covered. So far, I do like it and it covers most of my laptop. I will see if I will keep it or return since my purpose of purchasing this is so that I do not need the slip.

This is the second Mosiso case that developed a crack at the corner. So far so good! I ordered the deep teal color (although the pictures make the case look black -sorry about that, it was the best in terms of lighting that I could find) to go with my space gray macbook 12'.

The case itself came on time undamaged in a bubble wrap mailer that was shrink wrapped and inside a thin plastic bag. Putting it on was a snap and it fits perfectly. The case material is matte and smooth, not glossy and somewhat slippery like a Speck macbook case is. The particular macbook doesn't really have lots of ports but there are the appropriate openings. Targus usb 3.0 hub. I also really like how there is no logo imprinted or shown, giving it a cleaner look!

As a bonus, mine came with 4 extra dot stickers for the bottom of the case if any ever fall off. I've only had this case for a day or two so I will update the review accordingly IF anything else comes up (ex: chipping, hard to take off, causes macbook to overheat etc.), but absolutely no complaints so far! Note: I was not given this product for free nor given a discount for my honest review. The plastic seems of good quality, although the corner came slightly chipped:/ The most important part of the plastic, the clips, are of great quality. I can say with confidence that my first impression is good, especially for the price. However, the silver color comes with silver foam feet that are not rubber.

These foam feet slide around when using the laptop, so I ripped them off and put a dot of super glue under one of each of the provided white rubber feet. With that one modification, the case is very usable. I will update this review as soon as it starts cracking like all plastic cases do. Cracked a few weeks after purchasing, total waste of money. Update 5/13/16 Case and Lost Feet The pads (feet) on my transparent case seem to move around. After placing my computer in and out of the protective computer sleeve, I will often find a missing pad. Contacting seller will certainly send you another set of four. They have a strong customer-support approach.

I removed the four pads from the case, removed their double-backed tape, and cleaned the surface. I cleaned the glue residue from the computer case. I used Scotch Super Glue per the package instructions. The pads (feet) are now fixed permanently to the case.

Case: The second top crack worsened in the corner. I contacted the seller and once again I received a new top. This problem is less of an issue than the feet coming off. I am relatively happy now considering these weaknesses because the seller provides excellent service. I have been using this case for two months (2/2016).

Pro: Love the looks on my 12' MacBook. It does an excellent job of protecting the MAC's surface. Con: The top half develops cracks in the corners. The bottom half loses rubber feet. The seller was very helpful and replaced the top free of charge. I could not ask for better service.

The computer is kept in a protected carrying case, so it is not subjected to other than office work. I ordered the crystal/clear case and am very pleased that I am able to show off the nice gold color of my Macbook, but the case unfortunately came with some scratches on it that made me paranoid at first that I had scratched my brand new Macbook during installation.

Being that it's a clear case, these scratches are quite visible. I have yet to hear back from customer service about whether I can get a replacement. HOW TO REMOVE THE CASE. This is an absolutely fantastic hard shell case for the new MacBook 12' laptop.

It is a hard case, and seems like it will protect the laptop well, but has a very nice soft touch feel to it, indicating that it is premium quality plastic. It is light enough that I feel that it dosen't ruin the 'lightweight' appeal of the MacBook 12', but heavy enough to make it feel durable.

The clips seem sturdy and are not coming off, and the case fits snugly against the laptop, such that it will not trap dirt or cause scratches rubbing against the case. The Royal Blue color is striking, and looks great with the silver aluminium finish of the laptop. It is the perfect amount of translucent, so that you can still see the Apple logo.

Again, I do you like the look but was disappointed at how easy it is to scratch. For the price this is great but the bottom part of the cover does not stay in place very well on the sides. Good case, fits perfectly in MacBook Pro. The upper cover (used to protect the screen) does its job properly and it grabs itself firmly to the cover of the screen.But the bottom cover is loose around one corner. I was really excited once I got it. But then I found out that you cant put device on a laptop.
